Financial assessment officer
As a Financial Assessment Officer, you will work with other staff members to support residents such as older people, people with learning or physical disabilities or people with mental health problems, you may also support adults who have substance abuse problems, have offended, are living with HIV or AIDS, or are involved with the criminal justice system.
What is unique about this role?
You will financially assess people who have care and support needs and require a package of care to help maintain their independence. Working closely with social workers you will make decisions within the Care Act 2014 statutory guidance and work out how much the individual must contribute towards their care package. You will deal with people by telephone, letter, email, and on occasion face to face.
